Photo competition 2025 „Environment&Me”
The European Environment Agency (EEA) invites photography enthusiasts from all over Europe to take part in this year's „Environment&Me“ photo competition. The aim of the contest is to illustrate the connection between people and the environment.
This year's competition invites people to document their take on our planet's journey to a sustainable future, celebrate the progress made and capture the unprecedented challenges of our time with the lens of the camera.
How to participate
Select your best shots (maximum 5) and submit them via our online form under one or more categories by 30 May 2025.

- BLUE – Water & Me
- GREEN – Nature & Me
- ORANGE – Everyday life & Me
In addition to the opportunity to express creativity and environmental awareness, the best photos will be honoured with attractive prizes and presented in the EEA's publications and other communication activities.
Who can participate
Participants have to be at least 18 years old and citizens of one of the 32 EEA member countries or six cooperating countries, including the 27 EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia.
*This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and it is in line with UNSCR 1244 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence.
