The presence of microplastics in the environment and their effects on human, animal and ecosystem health are the subject of current discussions. Restrictions on primary microplastics such as particles used as additives in cosmetics are currently being discussed.

With our new test, we are able to reliably and rapidly detect a range of 90 active pharmaceutical ingredients in your water sample using an innovative screening method, and we determine the exact concentrations in the nanogram range for 10 substances.

The quality of groundwater, spring water and surface water can be impaired by the use of pesticides. The pesticide screening system developed by the Umweltbundesamt detects around 600 substances. We determine whether your water is contaminated by pesticides.

Water can be contaminated with pollutants. In order to measure the impact of sewage on ground and surface waters, an indicator test has been developed by the Umweltbundesamt. We determine whether there is any influence from municipal wastewater.

The Umweltbundesamt and TÜV Austria combine their expertise in the field of air pollution control and offer a joint service package for industrial companies. It includes sampling and measurement of possible emission sources of dioxins, PCBs and PAHs.

The main task of our molecular biological laboratory is the analysis of feed, foodstuffs and environmental samples for the presence of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Qualitative and quantitative PCR-tests with state-of-the-art equipment are provided for our clients.
