EEA photo competition: This is how climate change looks like

The winning pictures of the “Climate Change PIX” photo competition by the European Environment Agency are selected.

They visualize the impacts of climate change in Europe but also show solutions to make a difference. The winner of the youth prize artistically visualizes humanity’s waste of resources and the global emergency.
A team of environmental communication experts and the public have selected the winners of the six categories. The winners of the categories “Climate change impacts on nature”, “Climate change impacts on society”, “Societal solutions for climate change”, and “Individual action on climate change” are each awarded € 1000 by the EEA. The winners of the youth and public voting prize each receive € 500 from the EEA.
