Austria‘s Annual Air Emission Inventory 1990–2019.
Emissions of SO2, NOx, NMVOC, NH3 and PM2.5Wien, 2021
Reports, Band 0760
51 S.
The report on Austria’s Annual Air Emission Inventory 1990–2019, compiled by the Umweltbundesamt (Environment Agency Austria), provides a summary of Austria’s SO2, NOx, NH3, NMVOC and PM2.5 emissions for the years 1990 to 2019.
The report includes information on emission trends and recalculations performed for the years 1990 and 2019. More detailed descriptions will be provided in Austria’s Informative Inventory Report (IIR) 2020, which is to be submitted under the NEC Directive on 15 March 2021.
The results of the calculations presented in the report show that the emissions of all NEC pollutants decreased between 2018 and 2019: emissions of sulphur dioxide (SO2) by 5.9 %, nitrogen oxide emissions (NOx) by 4.0 %, non-methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOCs) by 0.3 %, ammonia emissions (NH3) by 1.6 % and particulate matter (PM2.5) by 0.9 %.
